One of the most popular recreation lakes in central Arizona, Lynx Lake is beautiful, 55-acre oasis for fishing, boating, sailing, canoeing and sightseeing. The Lynx Lake Recreational Area features mild weather, a cool ponderosa pine forest, a serene lake, a marina, campsites, picnic areas, boating, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, archaeological sites, bird watching and excellent trout fishing.

Lynx Lake Fishing. Located 5 miles east of Prescott, Lynx Lake is one of Arizona’s top fishing destinations for rainbow trout, largemouth bass, sunfish, channel catfish and crappie. The Arizona State Game and Fish Department periodically stocks Lynx Lake with rainbow trout. An Arizona fishing license and trout stamp are required for anglers age 14 and over.  [Top]

Lynx Lake Boating
Lynx Lake Boating. Lynx Lake is a peaceful destination for boating, paddling and water sports. The use of boat motors on properly licensed watercraft is limited to electrically powered models.
